Come in for a Conversion Conversation
We charge roughly $350 for the labor to install a conversion kit on your existing bike frame. This bike in the picture is ideal for a conversion as it already has disc brakes, has plenty of room on the down tube for a battery to mount on the existing water bottle braze ons, and has a standard bottom bracket to fit the mid drive motor. The CYC or Bafang mid drive motors seem to work the best for conversions as they carry the weight in the strongest part of a frame not made for an ebike. Hub motor kits work, but your really need a strong frame to begin with. We can order the motor and battery for you or you can bring in your own.
